linguistics, or equivalent
b. Bachelor's degree in English education or equivalent
c. Minimum two to three years of teaching experience
d. Experience creating materials, lesson plans, and school

a. Work and teach mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays
b. Teach at KLC of Ann Arbor or company settings offsite
c. Part-time or full-time
3. Do you work well
with others?
a. Cooperate with faculty in implementing curriculum,
activities, and school policies
4. Do you have
experience in using technology in language education?
a. CALL experience (hardware and software)
b. Other software used in creating materials and managing
school activities
5. Do you have
experience in language testing?
a. Teach preparation courses for TOEFL, TOEIC, or SAT
b. Administer TOEFL iBT or TOEIC
c. Teach medical English for NCLEX and USMLE
6. Do you possess
other valuable skills?
a. Bilingual in Japanese/English, Spanish/English,
Korean/English, or Chinese/English
b. Experience teaching Japanese or other languages to
nonnative speakers

Japanese Language
Instructors
KLC of Ann Arbor is looking
for Japanese language instructors to teach Japanese classes and/or
private lessons. KLC offers Japanese programs for both heritage
language speakers as well as first-time learners, both children
and adult. Instructors can expect both Japanese and American
students in some classes, with students ranging from early
elementary to college age and adult.
